What is Peppol?

Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 is the invoice format of the international Peppol network, through which businesses and authorities across Europe exchange invoices. It is based on UBL XML per EN 16931; with the PINT profiles, Peppol additionally covers Australia/New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and the UAE.
