    What is FE Costa Rica?

The Costa Rican comprobante electrónico is the mandatory format of the Ministerio de Hacienda, binding on all taxpayers since 2018 and currently in version 4.4. Every document carries a 50-character key (Clave) and is cleared by the authority, which is why it cannot be produced outside their system. For conversion this is the most rewarding format in Latin America: VAT is stated separately both per line and in the summary, and full structured addresses are present for both parties. Docuflair reads invoices, credit and debit notes, tiquetes and the purchase and export variants.
