    What is SRI Ecuador?

    The Ecuadorian comprobante electrónico is the mandatory format of the Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI). Every document carries a 49-character access key (clave de acceso) and is cleared by the SRI — outside that system it cannot be produced. What you download from the portal is usually not the invoice itself but an authorisation wrapper around it, holding the document either embedded or as a string. Docuflair unpacks both forms and reads invoices, credit notes and debit notes. VAT is stated separately; the buyer's address, however, is a single free-text line.
